Even though I have not been writing much lately, I have been working hard at making money online, and it is going quite well, even though many more experienced online workers claim that the month of July is usually pretty uneventful.
My biggest income has been from two private clients, one who I write content for, and one who I do SEO work for. I've earned over $200 in just a week working for these guys, and while the tasks were pretty big, I am hoping to get some loyal, returning customers because of my competitive rates and great results. So I see the low prices I take in the beginning as a form of investment.
The Amazon ads still haven't made me any money, which is a bit dissapointing, but I suppose I need to do some more research on placements of the ads and so on before I give up on them entirely.
I've also managed to beef up my account balance on MyLot this month as well, so I am hoping I will get a pay out from there for this month as well.
Other than that, I am still trying to learn as much as possible about the online money making business, so I've purchased these three new books:
The 4-Hour Workweek: Escape 9-5, Live Anywhere, and Join the New Rich
(the title says it all, don't you think?)
Escape from Cubicle Nation: From Corporate Prisoner to Thriving Entrepreneur
Online Marketing Heroes: Interviews with 25 Successful Online Marketing Gurus
(learning from the best is always a good idea!)
I still haven't recieved the books though, since I got them online, but as soon as I've read them, I will let you know if they are worth investing your time and money into!
I hope everyone is having fun and succeeding to make money online!

What I am doing right now...
I recently got myself a private client who needs some basic SEO done for his sites, so I am about to make several hundred bucks from doing that. Private clients are really a great way to make money fast, as you can set your own prices, and work as fast or slow as you want (and agree to with the client!).
Besides that, I am reading two awesome books that I think will help me improve my online money making skills and my motivation in general: Rich Dad Poor Dad: What the Rich Teach Their Kids About Money-That the Poor and the Middle Class Do Not! and 50 Ways to Make Google Love Your Website
I am really enjoying them both, even though 50 Ways to Make Google Love Your Website is maybe a bit too basic for me, but it is great to be reminded of some of the things you know too every once in a while!
And Rich Dad Poor Dad is really extremely inspiring! If you feel the need to change your attitude towards money and wealth, you definitely need to read it!

New update
So a new month has arrived, and a few weeks after I started this blog, I have actually managed to make money online! Not a lot of it, by any means, but any earnings is a step in the right direction right now.
All of it comes from MyLot, because while my Amazon ads have had some clicks, they have not resulted in any sales yet.
But at least I am making some progress!
The next step? Applying for a Google Adsense account, so I can start displaying Google links on this blog and my other blogs as well. I just filled out the application, and it is supposed to take 1-2 days before I get an answer regarding if my application has been approved or not. Can't wait!
Have a great and profitable weekend, everyone!
